Thetford Caravan Fridge N-Model Gas Solenoid
$20.00
Most Gas fridges stop working on gas because either the Thermocouple is faulty or the Gas valve solenoid is faulty. Thermocouples are easy to check and generally quite reliable.
If you try and buy a solenoid you will find the only option is to buy the whole switch and thermometer assembly for around $250.
I sourced the solenoid from a manufacturer and due to NZ Post loosing and then 3 weeks later finding my first shipment I have a few spares.
They fit Thetford Fridges model N80, 90, 100, 109, 110, 112, also suspect there are many other caravan fridges out there that use the same part. I’ve included the measurements in the images so you can compare.
Its very easy to remove and replace the Solenoid, you don’t need to disconnect any gas lines so no danger of a gas leak. Instructions in the images.
Also included instructions for starting your gas fridge, takes a bit of patience but once they go they stay going.
